Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, known professionally as Badshah, is a bestselling rapper who has made a distinct mark for himself in the Indian Music Industry. He raps in Hindi, Punjabi and Haryanvi and has collaborated with a variety of musicians on several unforgettable songs.

Starting his career in 2006 with Yo-Yo Honey Singh’s group Mafia Mundeer, Badshah found recognition amongst young music lovers. In 2014, he decided to go solo and delivered back to back chart topping songs. His earliest works in Bollywood include the song Dhup Chik from the movie Fugly, Saturday Saturday from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Let’s Nacho from Kapoor & Sons. Badshah has also joined forces with other independent singers. Proper Patola by Diljit Dosanjh featuring Badshah became one of the most trending songs on Saavn. Dj Waley Babu, his first single with Aastha Gill reached the number one spot on Indian iTunes in 2015. His collaboration with Navv Inder on the song Wakhra Swag turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. He went on to establish himself as one of the most prominent rappers - with Chaar Shanivaar from All is Well, and Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from Khoobsurat. In 2016, he delivered a string of massive blockbusters like Kar Gayi Chull (Kapoor & Sons), Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai (Sultan) and Kala Chashma (Baar Baar Dekho). This phenomenal success earned him the sobriquet of “King of Rap” in Bollywood. Every Bollywood party track that makes it to the top of the charts seems to have Badshah’s rap in it. He continued the trend in 2017 with more megahits like The Breakup Song (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil),The Humma Song (OK Jaanu) and Tamma Tamma Again (Badrinath ki Dulhania). Badshah also released his new single Mercy to rave reviews and recommendations by Bollywood bigwigs.
