Join us in this frustrating cold case. Katrina was 27 years old when she disappeared. Due to the domestic violence and choices she made with her husband, Richard McVeigh, she was homeless at the time of her disappearance. Katrina attempted to leave her husband by going to a shelter. However, that was short lived, as he found out where she was and created such a scene, the shelter administrators chose to discharge her. Katrina went missing in Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1992 and there are still no answers to her disappearance. I'm not sure why I was blindsided in the fact that this area was a cesspool in the 80's to early 2000's... the number of sexual assaults, cold cases, and murders during that time is astounding.
