Marcus Bent is a retired English professional footballer. Known as a journeyman for the number of clubs he has played at, Marcus played 573 games and scored 113 goals for fourteen different clubs (Brentford, Crystal Palace, Port Vale, Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town , Everton , Charlton Athletic, Loan to Wigan Athletic, Birmingham City, Mitra Kuka)In this interview, Marcus Bent talks to Dr Mark Prince OBE about his childhood, football career, addiction, mental health, and his recovery. His addiction subsequently resulted in an incident involving the police in September 2015. A taser was used twice whilst arresting Marcus Bent at his home.
