From the words of Avanti: My musical journey started at the age of 5 with formal music lessons from Smt Varsha Bhave. I have completed my Sangeet Visharad and stood first in my MA exam (Hindustani Classical Vocals). During this time I also had the opportunity to learn from Smt Archana Kanhere and Smt Rajashri Pathak. I am currently a disciple of Vidushi Ashwini Bhide Deshpande of the Jaipur Atrauli Gharana. My areas of passion include Thumri and Ghazal Gayki, as well as production and arrangement using a vocal dominant style.
