Emperor Shah Jahan made a throne called 'Peacock Throne or Mayur Sinhason '. It was made of tons of gold and precious jewels. In the head of the throne, there was an arc of pearls, silver and other valuable things. On the outer surface of the throne, two peacocks were embedded face to face. The throne was named after those peacocks. After Emperor Aurangzeb, Mughol empire became weak. Their descendants were not capable enough. Nadir Shah attacked and stole the Mayur Sinhason. He took away the throne with him to his country. After his death, the throne got lost and nobody knows where it is gone. The Britishers tried to find it, but failed. Till date it remains a mystery.
