About

With us today, we have Laura Wood. With over 20 years of experience in the field of education, Laura is passionate about all things international. She was educated at Queen's University in Canada and Cambridge in the UK, she has also lived in France, worked in Germany, conducted research in Australia, taught in South Africa and worked for the Directorate General for Education and Culture at the European Commission in Belgium. Now based in Canada, Laura has held roles as the Director of the International Programs and Services Office at the Rotman School of Management out of the University of Toronto, worked at Mitacs, a nonprofit national research organization related to industrial and social innovation. and is now the Director of Student Community and Engagement at Centennial College. Through her travels and experience working with different people in unfamiliar places, Laura has become comfortable in discomfort, calm in the face of uncertainty, traits that we can all stand to talk more about and learn from given today’s rapidly changing contexts. I’m pleased to welcome Laura Wood to the Education Revolution.
