Sir is the Founder and Managing Partner at Ikigai Law, an award-winning law firm specialising in hi-technology and emerging technology businesses. Sir works with agile, innovation-led businesses. Sir's legal practice encompassing VC investments, tech law and policy advisory has a special focus on growth-stage startups and deep-tech businesses. From setting up one of India's first cryptocurrency exchanges to advising on a spacecraft launch contract with ISRO for the launch of a lunar lander on the PSLV, Sir has represented tech companies on a wide range of issues. More recently, Sir's team represented leading crypto exchanges before the Supreme Court in their successful challenge to the RBIs crypto-ban. The Economic Times recently named Sir a “pioneer” in pushing through the drone regulations in India. Sir is also the visiting faculty at NLU-Delhi and IIM-Indore. Sir has authored a book on Cyber Laws published by the international publisher, Lexis Nexis, and mentor start-ups from time to time. Legal500 described Sir as someone who ‘connects with his clients’ and ‘provides long-lasting solutions’. Sir is a Harvard Law School alum and was named Achiever of the Year 2017 by BusinessWorld. He is qualified to practice law in India and New York. He is the author of a book on information technology laws and is regularly quoted on legal and policy issues relating to technology.
