About
In my early twenties I was admittedly a fat slut. I'm not embarrassed or ashamed by this but I am just realising now that my low self esteem and toxic body image issues did heavily impact my dating life.Back then I slept with any man that showed me any interest because I thought I was unworthy of love and attention due to being fat. I felt like I had to be grateful for any guy that could possibly find me attractive.During today's episode I wondered:Why are the words "fat" and "slut" so offensive? Why did I fear men's rejection and crave their attention?Would I still be a "slut" if I had better self-confidence?*Today's podcast episode was sponsored by XCITED PRODUCTS - your go to place for self-love, sexual empowerment and of course XCITING sex toys. Use the code ‘OHAPRIL’ at checkout and get 65% off any item you purchase from the Xcited Products website. *The Nasty Woman Podcast is hosted and produced by TNWC founder Demi Lynch. We are of course on Instagram so make sure you give us a follow @thenastywomanclub . For more stories on intersectional feminism head to The Nasty Woman Club website thenastywomanclub.com * * DON'T FORGET!!!!!
