Send us a text In this episode of the Handcrafted Therapy Podcast, Julie sits down with Jenny Mapes, a former Olympic hopeful turned sports massage therapist and founder of Cross Function Academy. Julie first met Jenny at a lounge and was immediately impressed by her background in high jump training for the 2012 London Olympics.   However, after not making the team, Jenny discovered her passion for sports massage through her own experience with a quad injury and the healing process with an orthopedic massage therapist.   Now, Jenny runs a sports recovery center in Seattle, working with athletes of all levels and specializing in sports massage. She is even working towards joining the US Olympic medical team and has her sights set on the Pan Am games. Jenny not only offers hands-on treatments but has also developed a comprehensive sports massage curriculum for licensed massage therapists in Seattle.
