It's a wrap to the #ChangeMaker series on the World Social Work Day 2022! #WSWD2022 In this 4th episode of the series, Denise Tay, co-founder of KampungKakis, shared with the host Eric Chan Jq on the "why" and the "how" of the Neighbourhood Buddy Matching platform. ️With her co-founders Mae Tan and Michelle, the trio came together to start this as COVID-19 hit the shores of #Singapore, to support the eldery and vulnerable during the pandemic and beyond. Supported by philanthropic organisations such as The Majurity Trust Temasek Trust, and Awesome Foundation, Kampungkakis has  grown the community to >1000 volunteers, matching eager-to-help community organisations (Willing Hearts, @communituition, and , Hey, You Got Mail!) with the needy on the ground. With these, Denise is running it on top of her full time job at Income as a Growth Hacker (What a cool name!).
