In the afternoon heat of July 12th, 1998 on the Parnell Ranch Juan Martinez, his brother Jose, and Jose’s two children Jack, 5, and Aerel 3 were killed and buried in a shallow grave in a berry bramble not to far from where Jose’s wife and the children’s mother was being beaten and raped by Arturo Juarez Suarez.
