About
Michelle Duran is a justice oriented individual, who is constantly searching to be more inclusive and conscious of the different ways that people are marginalised in society. Her purpose is to empower marginalised people from the ground up. She graduated from St. Lawrence University with a major in Global Studies and a double minor in Gender and Sexuality studies and Caribbean and Latin American Studies. Currently she is a teacher in training at Ember Charter School for Mindful Education, Innovation and Transformation.
