Devarakonda BalaGangadhara Tilak is a renown Indian Telugu poet. He is famous for his works Prabhatamu Sandhya, Amrutham Kurisina Rathri ("The Night when Nectar rained" - collection of posthumous poems), Tilak Kathalu (Collection of Stories) etc. Tilak received Andhra Pradesh state Sahithya Academy Award, Central Government Sahithya Academy Award in 1970 for Amrutham Kurisina Rathri, a Milestone in Modern Telugu as said by Sisir kumar Das. కవుల రైలు- Kavula Railu- is one of the great story from the book - తిలక్ కథలు (Tilak Kathalu) ఎందరో కవుల మధ్య కవితకి చోటు లేకుండా పోయింది అని తిలక్ ఒక తెలుగు కవి పరిస్థితి గురించి రాసిందే ఈ కవుల రైలు!
