Zoology to Design with Somdutt Sarkar

Somdutt heads Design for P&G India and is true example of a Probashi Bengali (A Bong bought up outside Bengal) He comes with a myriad of experiences spanning across growing up in a patriarchal Uttar Pradesh laden with gender stereotypes to moving to Calcutta, realising his true passion for the arts and moved from Zoology to Design at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. He talks about his love for Bengali food, how empathy is extremely important in all aspects of design and his travels to Nagaland where he enjoys some really unique experiences with the locals and truly gives a glimpse of the culture.
