In Buffy the Vampire Slayer season one, episode three, “Witch,” Buffy is trying to hold onto cheerleading - a pre-Slayer piece of her life she loved. At tryouts, cheerleaders begin dropping like flies - Buffy herself is targeted! - and the Scoobies suspect a powerful witch is behind the attacks.
