Susan Carland

In this episode we to fly to Melbourne to meet academic, author and activist Susan Carland. Susan was born into a suburban Christian family and enjoyed what she describes as a “wholly unremarkable upbringing”. But at age of 19, after an extended period of introspection and religious exploration, converted to Sunni Islam, a crossroads that has come to be perhaps the most defining shift in her life.
