He is the leader and musical director for the band, the Casteless Collective whose first album Magizhchi was released on 31st December 2018. Before that he was co-founder of Tamil rock band, Kurangan. He started the Madras Indie Collective, a platform for local artists, and is co-founder of Madras Records, an indie music label. He was the festival director of Madras Medai 2018, a festival that combined folk, rock and world music on one stage. He is currently composing music for his debut feature film, Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu (The Last Atomic Bomb from World War II).
