Before delving into the Bitcoin vs. Ethereum debate and determining whether Ethereum is superior to Bitcoin, you should first learn about cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrency operates in a manner very similar to “normal” currency (the dollar, Euro, Pound, yen, rupee, and so on). Normal currency, also known as fiat currency, refers to any form of currency that is not a cryptocurrency.  The primary distinction between cryptocurrencies and traditional currencies is that cryptocurrencies are decentralised.
