51, 6-1, SHOW  NOTES & COPYRIGHTS,  (4/8/22)Season 6, Episode 1, who would have thought?   Only with God.  AmenReflection of the previous seasons:Today we have one poem from God Still Rhymes and 3 unpublished poems.   My hope is that these poems will lead us to Palm Sunday and Easter.  We’ll start with an unpublished poem,I WEPTI weptAs a thought creptThrough my mindOnly to findI had left behindWhat did bindMy heartAt the day’s start.It was forgiveness,In which I had been living,But had not been givingTo another.That guilt did smotherThe joy of my day.So I knelt to prayThat as God does forgiveThat I may liveAs God has doneThrough Jesus His Son,ForgiveAnd live.Who knows why this came before I went to sleep.  Then as I wrote the last sentence I understood.                                                                                                 4/14/2021, tcarterDiscussion:Another unpublished poem.  First the reflection at the end:Leading up to Easter Sunday I read the accounts of the Jesus’ triumphant entry int Jerusalem, the last supper, His rejection by the people, His being nailed to the cross, dying and His resurrection in the four Gospels.  Putting them all together was quite eye opening.  Easter Sunday I started reading the Book of Acts.  Following my previous days reading, it also was eye opening.  Then on Monday I watched the evening news before reading further in Acts.  This is the result of the news colliding with God’s word.OUR ACTIONS TODAY“Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants tospeak your word with great boldness.   Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through thename of your holy son Jesus.”   (Acts 4: 29,30, NIV)Yesterday, today and tomorrowThe world does live in sorrow,By many accepted,By others rejected,The decrees of manDemanding what never canBring everlasting relief,Just an everlasting grief.As followers of ChristHis name we praise.Risen from the graveWe live with God given rights.In pain the world squealsNot knowing Jesus heals.For others we must prayEach and every dayThat God’s word is heardAnd help those in needSo they may overcomeWhat the world has done.Through Jesus they can have lifeNo longer living in strife.                           3/5/21, tcarterDiscussion:Our next poem is from God Still Rhymes, pg 61,THE TREESFrom the garden to the cross,From the fruit that...
