Season 1 | Episode 5: Happy Mther's Day

Welcome back to Cynthia @ the Table! I am your host Cynthia. I have my co-host, Angela, Arena, and Candice. We are in the pike, 5 by 5. We are in for a special treat today. This episode is all about Mother’s day. 
Mother’s day is very near and dear to my heart as I know it is for so many of you. It is a traditional celebration honoring motherhood and maternal moms. I’m talking about biological mothers, foster mothers, big mamas, play mothers from the neighborhood, and those who have been mother-like figures in the lives of others. 
You are all that! We are here to celebrate you! 
Mother’s day is traditionally celebrated in the U.S. on the 2nd Sunday in May. I also recently learned that Mother’s Day in Mexico is celebrated on May 10th each year. It just so happens, that in 2020 we are sharing in the celebration this Sunday, because both Mother’s day fall on May 10th. 
How awesome is that! 
I want to talk a little bit about what Mother’s day means to me, then we’ll get to hear from our co-host and special guest.
