About

Diane Mapp is the Founder of Note2Queen and Note2King. These organizations uplift and empower young people to rise above adversity. "As a founder I am motivated by the hearts and minds I hope to touch and change everyday. I dedicate my life to inspire, empower, and motivate every youth I meet," says Mapp.Diane grew up a motherless daughter. At just 15 years old she lost her father to kidney failure. Since she had no family to turn to she became homeless. She then fell in love to man who would turn out to be her worst enemy. She was in an abusive relationship. From this relationship she had two twin boys. When the boys were in their teenage years Diane's life took a turn for the worse. She lost one of her boys and had to bury him at just 19 years old. She went through years of depression, realizing that depression is a scary beast. She suffered years of domestic violence, abuse, childhood trauma, grief, and self hatred.Although life was extremely hard for her she knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel. While enduring all of life’s challenges and experiences, she never gave up hope. Instead she thrived and beat depression. Diane hopes to inspire the youth so that they can get rid of the dangerous cycle of self hate. She encourages everyone to reach out to her through social media @note2king and @note2queen on Instagram and Facebook.
