Random Acts of Coolness

People doing kind acts for other people sometimes make us uncomfortable. Why is that? The incredible feeling of doing something kind for others is unlike any feeling there is, at least for me. So why do we feel funny and preventive when someone wants to do something kind for us? Who are we to deny them that same great feeling that makes the heart feel happy?
