Preston Rodman, Large Enterprise Account Executive

On this episode I caught up with a good friend and former colleague of mine, Preston Rodman.He's a sales rep that works with large enterprises and we know each other after working on the same sales team several years ago.He holds a special place in my own career journey because the first closed/won deal that I sourced as an SDR was closed by him way back in 2017.It was at that moment I realized I could actually be successful and might a future in this world of B2B SaaSI remember thanking him for closing the deal like a total noob and I'll never forget what he said after.He said he should be the one thanking me for setting up the meeting and making sure he was put in a good position to work the dealI always love chatting w/ him about work and this time is no different.We talk about his initial career aspirations of being a dentist, how his time in college was a bit bumpy and we go through his progression in sales at different startups.Thanks again for listening and I hope you enjoy!
