In Luke Chapter 6, Jesus is accused by the Pharisees of breaking the Sabbath by allowing his disciples to pluck and eat grain on the day. Jesus responds with a rebuke in which he claims authority over the Sabbath. Later, Jesus heals a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath, leading the Pharisees to plot against him. Jesus then selects his twelve apostles and delivers the Sermon on the Mount, in which he teaches about loving one's enemies, the importance of not judging others, and the concept of giving with a pure heart. Throughout the chapter, Jesus emphasizes the importance of following God's will above societal norms and laws.
