In this wide-ranging interview, Tryn and Katherine talk about why the characters in Katherine's novel are eating and drinking so much, her love of beautiful sentences, and their mutual fear of their hometowns. She has won a Pushcart Prize and the McGinnis Ritchie Award for Fiction. Katherine lives in Los Angeles.
