Episode 18: Mikaeel Kular. Content Warning: This case involves the death of a child. This is the case of Mikaeel Kular, a three year old boy who lived in Edinburgh in 2014. On Wednesday 15th January 2014, Mikaeel was seen around 9pm going to bed in his home in Ferry Gait Crescent, in the Drylaw area of the city. The next morning, around 7.15am, Mikaeel’s mother discovered that he was missing from his bed, and called the police to report him missing. The outcome of this case shocked everyone from police to local residents and the pain is still felt to this day.
