Coaches Vs. Racism (CVR), is a national non-profit leading the charge to end systemic racism through sports. CVR Executive Director Darryl Woods talks about their mission, his thoughts on Deion Sanders and Kyrie Irving. CVR is also hosting the second annual “HBCU Roundball Classic” on December 13 and 17, 2022, in Houston, Texas - a series of fast-paced basketball match-ups between Division I college programs against HBCUs.   Brian Ellison is a philanthropist and a self-taught photographer, cinematographer, conceptual visual artist, and CEO of The Black Man Project.  The Black Man Project is launching free group therapy for Black men to create a safe space for men to share openly, begin their wellness journey and build community. The upcoming Black Men Healing sessions will take place at The Black Man Project studio in Houston’s Third Ward community located at 2502 Division St., Houston, TX 77004, on December 31, and on January 7, 2023.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
