When her teacher suggested she meet The Scary Guy, who was visiting her school, little did Darriann know then as a fourteen year old that, twelve years later, she would be using the tools he gave her to not only change her own mindset but she would now be using them to help youngsters to change theirs. The seeds that Scary sowed that day, led to a 'mental freedom' for Darriann in her relationship with her Mother, her understanding of the bullying she was receiving and how she no longer had to be the 'victim' and how she could be her true self, including with her sexuality in her new found life in Australia. ...and how she would end up as a guest on The Scary Guy Podcast.
