Licensed clinical social worker Chloe Schechter shares some tips that caregivers can implement to help them cope (and thrive) in their caregiving role. This podcast addresses topics like: Stress relief strategies; The importance of frequent communication and adaptation; The benefits of mental health check-ups.Chloe received her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Missouri- St Louis and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has a certificate in Gerontology and has worked with the older adult population in many different settings, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities and adult day centers. Chloe provides therapy for seniors with feelings of depression or anxiety, or who are experiencing adjustment issues, grief or memory loss. She also has significant experience counseling those combating a variety of medical challenges, including vision loss and terminal illness. Chloe uses a holistic approach that involves family and caregivers when needed.
