Ashley Woods is an businesswoman on the move to makinga difference in her community,her life and in the world.Born in the city of Philadelphia;Woods always knew that therewere goals that she wanted andgoals that were obligated to becompleted. She knew it was amust to not be bamboozled orfall a victim of her environment.Woods planned to make thebest out of the hand she wasdealt & with that first hand shestepped into planting the seedsto creating what we call today"Living her best life"She made the decision to serve in the U.S. military; prepared to stand up andstand for something meaningful she strongly dressed in uniform to served hercountry from the year 2002 up until the year 2007. Though many obstaclesarose on her journey to finding her callingWoods continued to keep her faithhigh and remain humble.Practicing due diligence assisted her in achieving a medal from her peers forher bravery and service work during the time of HurricaneKatrina. Since thenWoods has made it her mandatory duty to always show her love , respect,loyalty, and interpersonal connection with her community, family, friends, andsupporters. She went on to work as a contractor for the federal government,while participating in community service she made her way to help feedchildren in need in Kenya. Being inspired by the individuals she met Woodswent off to write a book for children titled "Alphabet Dreams."Today Woods is an activist for mental health; with this she plans to share theimportance of mental health awareness and be sure those battling with thisdisability know they have someone to call a friend. She has also launched hervery own beauty supply store in the city of Philadelphia titled "BeyondBeauty Hair Supply." Within these venture she plans to make sureeveryone knows that they are beautiful inside and out.Woods has shown that she will continue to giveback & she will never stop!
