Women without a spouse/significant other are often considered less than a man who may be in a similar situation. Our society has labeled us and we have fallen victim to the terms but we need to change the verbiage and be individuals. We all want love and romance and yet it is OK to be happy alone - it does not mean we are lonely or helpless.
