A Meditative Reflection with Emilyne Mondo

On April 20th 2021 ,a jury in Minnesota found Derek Chauvin Guilty on three counts of murdering George Floyd. It is the first time in Minnesota history that a police officer has been found guilty of the murder of a black man. While it is history, it is not justice. It is overdue accountability and the very first steps to a change that African Americans have been fighting for.
