About
1 Corinthians 3 talks about how the church in Corinth was divided and how some of the people were claiming to follow certain leaders, identifying themselves as followers of only one particular leader. Paul urged them to stop this kind of behavior, to unify the church and to understand that all their leaders, including himself and Apollos, were just servants of God. He also warns them not to boast about who they follow, and to focus on the message of Christ, which is the foundation of their faith. Finally, Paul uses some imagery from building and gardening to explain that believers, just like builders or farmers, must work hard to get results, and that the reward for their faithfulness will come from God himself.
