Payal Debroy is an Engineering Geologist and has worked in Engineering for the last 15 years. Payal’s expertise is in analysing the ground conditions to enable construction of complex structures like tunnels, bridges, railways and high-rise buildings. She prepares models of the ground that provide important engineering information like strength, material parameters, geochemistry to inform the designs of these complex and challenging construction projects.As well as being a Principal Geologist Engineer at COWI based in Scotland, Payal Debroy is a classical singer, dancer, stage artist and community volunteer - listen to the end to enjoy Payal’s beautiful voice!
