This is a short story from the Mahabharat.  Before the war, the battle field is cleared off all the trees. On one of the tree, lives a sparrow with her babies. When the tree is cut, her nest falls to the ground and she is rendered homeless. She doesn't know what to do. She prays to Lord Krishna and asks him to show mercy. But Lord Krishna refuses to intervene. She pleads but the lord refuses to budge.  So, what happens next - Will the bird and her babies get crushed when the war begins?
