Summer’s career spans news and entertainment, as a Reporter/Producer/Host/Anchor, at various television network affiliates across the country. Summer enjoys teaching others the Art of Communication. In 2014, she won a modeling competition with Art Van Furniture Company. She has also landed acting roles in, Tyler Perry’s Madea Boo 2, CW’s The Vampire Diaries, ABC’s (pilot) Runner, and ABC Family’s Pop Rocks. Summer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana and a Master of Arts Degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Howard University, in Washington, D.C.
